These detentions come after an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
